Roundtable Lunches + Sessions
Roundtable Lunches
Roundtable lunches are small-group consultative sessions led by experts and thought leaders, held at roundtables of 8 to 10 participants. They are freeform, with each reflecting the topic and style of the moderator. In some cases, participants have lots of questions for the Roundtable Leader. In others, the Roundtable Leader has a question or challenge for the participants. The idea is to make it as interactive as possible, addressing the interests of those at the table. We typically recommend preparing a brief one-minute overview of your topic and being prepared with a few questions for the participants at your table to get the conversation going.
Roundtable Lunch logistics:
Roundtable lunches take place during lunch on Thursday, May 23 in the common meal areas
One host, eight to ten attendees
Open discussion on a specific topic
Roundtable Sessions
A roundtable session is a one-hour session in a quiet, closed setting. These roundtables will provide powerful opportunities for hosts to interact with participants, hear what’s on their mind, and for both the host and attendees to walk away with new connections and valuable insights. The key to this new format at our conference is for the host to come prepared with relevant facts and information, but to not expect to present to the group. Roundtable hosts should come prepared with a general topic and some high-level framing to get everyone thinking and they should be ready to ask engaging questions to advance the conversation.
Roundtable Session logistics:
Roundtable sessions take place concurrently with breakout sessions in a breakout room
One host, up to twenty attendees
Open discussion, not a presentation/sales pitch
